Chimera and Animal studies

Compilation of animal studies and sketches, including some chimera creatures. Outside of a few pencil sketches which took anywhere from 10-30 minutes, the digital animal studies took about 2-7 minutes each. The chimera sketches were done in the range of 7-15 minutes each. I used this exercise as a way to practice my ability to create a recognizable form within a short amount of time. I also experimented a little with different styles, and I used different mark-making techniques for each to try and see what worked most efficiently.
